I was in the audience in Monterey at the annual TED conference and experienced the passionate appeal given by John Doerr on going green. John is the world's most famous venture capitalist; he's helped bring to market companies like Sybase, Google, Amazon, Netscape, Intuit and Sun and, beyond that, is a powerful reforming voice in politics, education, philanthropy... you name it.
John made the most compelling call to action about getting green that I've heard. He had the right audience (TED is a collection of movers and shakers from all industries, thought leaders and assorted influencers) for such an emotionally riveting presentation about the need to get innovative about solving this crisis... before it's too late.
Check out John Doerr's talk here. I guarantee you will be moved to think how you can be part of the solution.
So let's start some major conversation around this... watch it and forward to others. I want to hear what you think!
