I no sooner finished reading Sherry Turkle's excellent book Alone Together-- talking of the phenomenon of our getting more intimate with technology just as we are getting less connected with other humans-- than I heard of Andrew Keen and his book Digital Vertigo, which argues that the Facebook impact on people's lives--especially the young--is a dangerous thing.
He wrote a piece for CNN today that is so good, I'll direct you to it here.
Author of I is for Intercourse: The ABC's of Conversation, Susan Bird is the visionary behind Wf360, and a sought-after speaker around the world for her views on leadership, the strategic importance of conversation, entrepreneurship, and the role of women business leaders.
This is truly a great read for me. I have bookmarked it and I am looking forward to reading new articles. Keep up the good work !
